Granola

What you need

One API key, from the Granola app. No command line, and nothing to deploy.

Create the key

1. In Granola, open Settings → Connectors → API keys.
2. Press Create new key.
3. Choose what the key may read. See below, because this is the setting that decides what Worclaude can answer questions about.
4. Press Generate API Key and copy it. It starts with grn_ and Granola shows it once.

What the key may read

Granola offers two scopes and they are not the same thing:

Personal notes covers meetings you own, notes shared directly with you, and notes in private folders that were shared with you.

Public notes covers notes visible to your whole workspace, and notes in Team spaces.

Pick both if you want this source to see what you see. Pick Personal alone if you would rather keep workspace meetings out of it. Either way the key can only reach notes you could already open in the app, and Worclaude reads Granola and only reads: nothing it does can edit a note, delete one, or change who a note is shared with.

On an enterprise plan, an admin has to turn the scopes on before a key can use them. The symptom when they have not is a key that saves cleanly and then answers nothing, so it is worth checking first.

One thing to expect

Granola serves a meeting only once it has finished writing the summary and transcript. A meeting you recorded ten minutes ago is not there yet, and asking for it looks exactly like asking for a meeting that never happened. Give it a few minutes.
